Optcore’s 1000BASE-BX SFP BiDi transceiver offers a low-priced alternative replacement for Cisco GLC-BX-D without sacrificing the quality of your fiber optic network connectivity. It is new SFP BiDi module made by a third-party manufacturer OPTCORE rather than Cisco to provide a cheaper transceiver alternative. This alternative compatible GLC-BX-D supports 1G BiDirectional connectivity up to a maximum distance of 3km over a single fiber (SMF). This compatible SFP BiDi transceiver has been programmed and tested to work as the original Cisco GLC-BX-D 1000BASE-BX3-D SFP BiDi module. It is suitable for Cisco network switches, routers, firewalls, security gateway, fiber media converter, servers, NAS, accelerator card, network adapters and interface card (NICs).
